Neal and Becky Adrian have a long history with South Dakota. Born and raised in South Dakota, Neal got his B.S. and M.S. degrees at South Dakota State University before earning his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma. While there, Neal met and married the love of his life, Becky, a native Texan, who completed her degree in Zoology. Neal then worked for the Department of Defense in Illinois before starting an indoor air quality consulting and mold remediation firm. After 20 years, four daughters, and twice-a-year vacations to the Black Hills, in 2015 they made the Black Hills home. During the school year, Neal teaches college Biology and Becky teaches Geometry at Rapid City Christian School. Neal drove for 4 seasons for a local tour bus company before he and Becky launched Black Hills Day Trips. They love to share their own appreciation for the history and beauty of the Black Hills with visitors to this great area.
